Wild Trees

I came across  these ancient pitch pines when touring skyline drive in Shenandoah National Park.  The  mist really made the experience memorable.

Here are some fantastic shots of wild Junipers I came across when in Nevada.  These images where taken in the mountains 40 min outside of Las Vegas.  The environment was extremely dry and the root systems went on forever...  You can really learn a great deal from studying these trees.  Enjoy!
